Ayurvedic Candles

$48.00

We’re exceptionally proud of these candles, which have been in-house designed. Crafted with the principles of Ayurveda in mind, each of these blends serves a different purpose as far as the properties and effects of the ingredients. They are made of pure essential oils, clean-burning soy wax and cotton wicks. Candles burn for over 60 hours and are presented in twelve ounce old-fashioned glasses with lids, which you can use for anything from storage to cocktails once the candles have completed burning (and you wash the jar).

The scents:

V: Lavender and Lemongrass

The “V” candle is designed to promote relaxation. Lavender and lemongrass are oils that bring balance to the Ayurvedic constitution of Vata, which is composed primarily of the air and ether elements. We like to use this candle when we are feeling frazzled, anxious or scattered, or when we are just looking to unwind at the end of the day.

P: Rose, Vanilla and Lime

The “P” candle is designed to soothe. Rose and lime oils cool and reduce inflammation, bringing balance to the Ayurvedic constitution of Pitta, which is composed primarily of the fire and water elements. We especially love this candle in the summer, or anytime we need to cool down.

K: Cinnamon, Clove, Sweet Orange and Vanilla

The “K” candle is designed to spice up your life! This warming and invigorating combination of cinnamon, sweet orange and clove oils bring balance to the Ayurvedic constitution of Kapha, which is composed primarily of the earth and water elements. This is a favorite candle of ours for spring, when Kapha is predominant, or anytime we are feeling sluggish and in need of a little boost!

T: Peppermint and Vanilla

The “T” candle is designed to adapt to your needs. Fun fact: peppermint oil can bring balance to all three Ayurvedic constitutions, or doshas, making it “tridoshic”. We like to use this candle all year-round, when we are feeling like seeking some expansiveness, lightening up, and creating some space. Truth be told, it’s also fantastic for winter and fills the house with a delicious and holiday-appropriate scent. Enjoy!
